Broccolini has been recoginzed for generation as a health-promoting vegetable due to its high vitamin, folic acid, iron and beta-carotene cotent. Recently it has also been recognized as a cancer-fighting food.
This is delicious in soups, risottos, salads and side dishes.
Traditionally customers focus on the flowers and the upper part of the vegetables, however don't discard the stem! This is full of nutrients and is also succulent when steamed, sliced and served with the a spicy sauce or mayonaisse.
